Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 1, 2026

These terms govern your use of LanternBRP's apps and dispatch platform. We've kept them plain: what you get, what we promise, what we ask in return.

01

Acceptance of terms

By creating a LanternBRP workspace or using the LanternBRP app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions on behalf of your company. If you don't agree, don't use the service, though we'd rather you emailed us about what's worrying you.

02

The service

LanternBRP provides field service management software: work orders, scheduling, dispatch, customer records, photo and signature capture, GPS tracking during shifts, and reporting. We may add, change or retire features; we will never remove a core feature of a paid plan mid-billing-cycle without a refund option.

03

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed per active technician seat, monthly or annually. Monthly plans can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current cycle. Annual plans are prorated after month six. The 14-day pilot is free and converts only if you choose a plan. We never auto-charge a pilot.

Prices may change with 60 days' notice. Taxes are additional where applicable.

04

Your data

You own your data: customer lists, job history, photos, reports and everything you put into LanternBRP. You grant us only the license needed to store, process and display it back to you. You can export everything, in standard formats, at any time.

05

Acceptable use

Don't use LanternBRP for anything unlawful, don't track people without their knowledge and consent, don't probe or disrupt the service, and don't resell access. Location features must only be used for employees or contractors who have agreed to on-shift tracking.

06

Service levels

We target 99.9% monthly uptime for the sync API and dispatch board, measured excluding scheduled maintenance announced 48 hours in advance. Offline mode keeps technicians working during any outage. If we miss the target in a calendar month, affected paid workspaces can claim a 10% credit for that month.

07

Liability

LanternBRP is provided "as is" alongside our uptime commitment above. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

08

Termination and governing law

Either side may end the agreement at any time; the data-export window in our Privacy Policy applies. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, with disputes handled in its courts. Questions: legal@lanternbrp.com.
